Week 20:

Regents Week

Since we only meet on Monday, I will not post a class work scedule for the week. You know what is expected for Regents Week: read and annotate Book 2 in 1984. I will check annotations on Monday January 22, so please have your book ready for inspection. When reading, pay close attention to the improved physical condition of our protagonist Winston Smith. What is Orwell saying with this change in character?

This week is a good week to review the TONE words and the Literary Terms for the AP Exam. Please take some ownership in your preparation for this exam. Thank you for your diligent work effort...I always notice!

Finish BOOK 2 (105-225) during Regents Week, due Monday, Jan 29.

Independent Reading Assessment is scheduled for Monday, Jan 22.
